Brésil, Novembre 2015: quand j’ai pris la décision de partir durant un an. Brazil, November 2015: when I made the decision to travel for 1 year
Bonjour!
Moi, c’est Anne-Sophie. J’ai grandi en Vendée, ici très exactement, et lors, de mes études, j’ai eu l’occasion de partir quelques temps à l’étranger, pour vivre des expériences + ou – positives. Et oui, mon 1er séjour hors de France, en Bavière durant 2 mois, m’a un peu marqué… Mais je ne me suis pas arrêtée à cette 1ère expérience, et j’ai continué mon chemin, en partant étudier 1 an à Cardiff en Erasmus, puis 6 mois à Montréal pour un stage + job d’été, avant de revenir en France et me poser à Paris durant quasiment 6 ans.
En 2010, j’ai eu l’opportunité de partir à New York pour le travail, et j’y suis restée jusqu’au 7 juin dernier. J’ai adoré mon expérience dans la Grosse Pomme!
Et maintenant, me voilà prête à partir explorer le monde et rencontrer ses habitants durant un an. Grand départ prévu le 19 août 2016 de Nantes.

I’m Anne-Sophie. I grew up in France, in Vendée (between Bordeaux and Normandy). During my studies, I got the opportunity to go and live in different places abroad, including in:
– Bavaria, Germany (not a great memory but it was only for 2 months, and I still love German people :-))
– Cardiff, Wales for 1 year as a student, I was doing an exchange program
– Montréal, Canada for an internship + summer job.
And then I found a real job in Paris in 2004 and lived there for almost 6 years. In 2010, I got the opportunity to move to New York with my job. I loved the Big Apple experience and stayed there for 6.5 years.
But on June 1, I started a sabbatical, I flew back to France on June 7 and I will start traveling around the world for one year on August 19.
For those of you who don’t know me very well, I have to admit I am a bit like Pierre Richard, a French clumsy actor, especially when I am traveling. So, in this blog, I will share my adventures with you, whether they are good or bad.
