Australie: mon itinéraire / My itinerary in Australia

– Sydney: amis, grande ville, plage, culture: 4 nuits
– Byron Bay: plage, surf, hippie: 2 nuits
– Gold Coast: voile, plage, fête: 2 nuits
– Brisbane: grande ville, parcs, musées: 4 nuits
– Noosa: amis, plage, nature: 5 nuits
– Melbourne: grande ville, culture, parcs, quartiers: 2 nuits
– Port Campbell: Great Ocean Road, nature: 1 nuit
– Melbourne: 5 nuits
– Sydney: 3 nuits

Mes photos d’Australie

I spent 31 days in Australia so below you will find my itinerary*:
– Sydney: major city, friends, beach, culture: 4 nights
– Byron Bay: beach, surf, hippie vibe: 2 nights
– Gold Coast: sailing, beach, party: 2 nights
– Brisbane: big city, parks, museums: 4 nights
-Noosa: friends, beach, nature: 5 nights
– Melbourne: major city, culture, parks, different neighborhoods: 2 nights
– Port Campbell: Great Ocean Road: 1 night
– Melbourne: 5 nights
– Sydney: 3 nights
– Katoomba: Blue Mountains, hiking, nature, and also rain and fog: 1 night
– Sydney: 2 nights
With this very classic itinerary, I discovered the “feels-like-America” part of Australia. I did not see the more typical Australia for 2 main reasons:
1- I only stayed one month in Australia, which is nothing when you look at the size of the country
2- I did not rent a car, which would have allowed me to go off the beaten track and see more of the outback. However, driving (not my thing), on the left side (scary) and by myself for many kilometers: thanks but no thanks. But I still enjoyed my time in Australia, and I have a very good reason to come back since I still have so much more to discover! And now, I am on to New Caledonia!
